Dr Tess Evans

Dr Tess Evans
I am a Senior Registrar in Intensive Care based in Brisbane and a post-confirmation PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia. Whilst working as a junior registrar, I led the development of the Prospective Observational Embedded Microbiome Study (POEMS) at Fiona Stanley Hospital Intensive Care Unit, an ongoing major partner in the Health Service’s Biobank. Beyond bugs, my passions lie in digital health advocacy, mentorship and end-of-life care; although I ultimately consider myself a failed dancer.
