Associate Professor Peter Kruger

Peter KRUGER PhD, BSc (Hons), MBBS, FANZCA, FCICM. Peter is a Senior Intensive Care Specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital and an Associate Professor at both the University of Queensland and Monash University, Melbourne. Peter holds specialist qualifications in both Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine. His research interests include statin therapy in critical illness (for which he was awarded his PhD), clinical trial design, Lung injury, weaning patients from mechanical ventilation and the management of severe sepsis. He is currently The Vice President and Board member of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. Outside medicine he is a keen sailor.
