Dr Daniel Harris

Dr Dan Harris has two decades of connection with indigenous health care in Central Australia. Medical student experiences on Warlpiri country led to internship at Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) and subsequent Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Currently employed full time in Anaesthesia at ASH, Dan maintains interests in Medical education, Prehospital/Disaster Medicine and Indigenous Health. He believes a solid understanding of local culture is essential to successful Central Australian health care provision. Out of theatres, Dan enjoys Alice Springs’ walking and mountain biking trails, rock climbing and gardening.
