Dr Jessica Forbes

Dr Jess Forbes is an Emergency Physician and Trauma Consultant at the Gold Coast University Hospital. She trained in various hospitals throughout Queensland before joining the Gold Coast team in 2021. She has worked in the prehospital setting with the Queensland Ambulance Service High Acuity Response Unit, where she gained a reputation as an amazing (/ embarassing) car karaoke participant. She was heavily involved in preparing the Gold Coast University Hospital for its RACS re-verification as a Level One Trauma Centre in 2023. She enjoys camping with her family and squishing the face of her adorable golden retriever, Milly.
