Dr Lewis McLean
B.Med, Dip CU, CCEeXAM, DDU, FCICM Lewis is an Intensive Care Specialist at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia. He is the Deputy Chair for the ANZICS Global Intensive Care Initiative (GICI). He undertook fellowship training at the Alfred Hospital in education and echocardiography while continuing involvement in delivering critical care training in low-resource settings. He is a member of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, the College of Intensive Care Medicine ECLS Special Interest Group and the Critical Care Ultrasonography Special Interest Group. He has significant experience working and teaching in developing healthcare systems and low-resource settings in critical care. He has ongoing involvement in educational projects in Intensive Care Medicine and critical care ultrasound in Fiji and PNG.
