Dr Manisa Ghani

Dr Manisa Ghani is an Intensivist, Emergency Physician and Clinician Educator based in Melbourne, Australia. She believes that being both a clinician and an educator is her calling; systematically develops herself to fulfil this role to the best of her ability. Since 2022, she joins the College of Intensive Care (CICM) as one of the Directors of Professional Affairs. Focusing on education, she pays attention to the interconnected nature of relationships with education and training. She aims to steadily build CICM educator and supervisor community of practice. She works towards increasing her reach in education, especially in aspects of humanity and professionalism, through deep involvement at the systems and curriculum level. At a specialty level, she is heavily involved in CICM Curriculum Renewal and recently spent 3 months in Fiji as a clinical and academic support at one of the ICUs in Fiji in collaboration with Fiji National University. At a student level, she contributes heavily to the critical care curriculum for medical school at the University of Melbourne.
