Jean Pepperill

Jean Pepperill is a Kaytetye woman from Barrow Creek in Central Australia. She is a doctor who has done all her training in the Northern Territory. Taking a break from Psychiatry training with RANZCP, Jean is currently a lecturer in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health at Flinders University Northern Territory Medical Program and studying a Graduate Diploma of Psychology - receiving a scholarship from The Westerman Jilya Institute for Indigenous Mental Health to complete her studies. Jean is a board member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association (AIDA) and sits on the Headspace Cultural Governance Committee. Her passion is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Mental Health. In her spare time she can be found painting, hiking, stargazing, or doing photography.
