Max Dillon

Maxwell Dillon is a descendant of the Kombumerri people whose tribal land is where we are situated this morning. Also, a Nunukal descendant of the neighbouring area of Stradbroke Island. His tribal name is Kupae, meaning native bee. Kupae is a culture man who has been taught by knowlege holders (his law elders) and continues to learn, but also share the knowledge he has gained. A proud representative of his people he connects to culture and the old ways of life to help continue the legacy of his family.
