SA Cultural Safety Workshop June 2023

South Australia CICM is proud to present the Cultural Safety Workshop.

This workshop is facilitated by Dr Karen Nichols. She is a Torres Strait Islander who received her fellowship with RACGP in 2010, has worked with the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association and is now Chair of the of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Council. She is a passionate educator and has worked together with CICM to develop this workshop to develop cultural safety skills specific to the Intensive Care Environment. We fortunate to have her fly in for this session.
Pre reading will be required. Suitable for CPD points.

Registration is open to CICM trainees and anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in ICU. Please RSVP by Wednesday the 31st of May. Numbers are strictly limited so RSVP promptly to secure your position on the course.
